Cmon folks, if stuff happens to other chapters around the country and it makes a nationally syndicated website like CNN.COM do we really need to bring it here for further examination. Now I can see non greeks bringing it to us. That honestly hurts us. Let a sleeping dog lie. If someone frequents these sites and sees it, hey, nothing we can do.
I agree that this stuff CAN hurt us, and DOES hurt us. But at the same time, we need to learn about it and discuss it and figure out ways to prevent it. It's sad, it's bad publicity, it's usually sick stuff--I wish it didn't exist. But it does, and the only way to continue the fight against the things that happen in these chapters across the country--is to EDUCATE ourselves and OTHERS. Who knows--someone might come here and say--you know, that's messed up, look at the potential of the greek system--I'm going to get involved and try to turn things around. I just don't think sweeping the bad under the rug will promote the good.
