OK, to round out my son's friends - 5 pledged SAE at Texas Tech, 4 pledged Sigma Chi at LSU, 3 pledged Fiji at TCU (woops forgot 2 who pledged Phi Delt at TCU). They do seem to be pledging in groups - I guess it is just my son who decided to do something different from his high school friends.
I know that he still sees his friends at his school who pledged the different fraternity, but he doesn't have any time to hang out with them! I guess he'll have to wait til winter break!

I know this isn't *really* the place for this but the proud big sister in me has to boast: my brother's chapter of Phi Psi has 6 new sophomore pledges (frosh rush is in the spring) - not only is this great, it means the future of the fraternity is assured. Only a year ago they faced having only a handful of members and now they're flourishing.

NOT to be picky, Jill. But, I think you left off princessjv from your list! She's got her great (for DG!) rush thread right here:

The daughter of a church friend just pledged KAPPA DELTA at University of Arkansas!
It seems like most of the girls from here pledge either Delta Gamma or Kappa Delta!

Jill, I'm not so sure that my kinda-cousin will be rushing; I'll have to check the dates. She was selected for an exclusive choral group (the only freshman!) and will be traveling in Europe a lot of this term. So, good for her, bad for us.

Yeah, what she said! But I got it, thank you! I appreciate the heads up. It might take a bit but I will get to you!
And no, I haven't read every rush thread this year. Between having family in town, keeping up the house and studying...
