Haha...I worked at Chuck E. Cheese as a party hostess one summer, and I definitely dressed up as Chuck E a few times!

Despite growing up near/in ocean:
I am one unlucky surfer girl.
In 1 year:
--my board flipped back, split open my lip. Good grief, did it bleed.
--I was nearly sucked out to sea when a storm rolled in early, I had to use my board as a kickboard to get to land.
--my surfboard hit me in the head twice in a week, which may explain alot.
--was stung by stingrays twice. The first time, I stepped on one. The second time, one zapped me as I was minding my own business paddling out.
--some creep took my board while I was stuck in Starbucks too long. I passed on the drive thru because the line was too long.
--I borrowed my ex-boyfriend's prized board from Hawaii and it got dinged.
(He had 3 others)
I fear: magicians, fortune tellers, palm readers, and being bored.
I can't read a map, any map.
I flunked or dropped out of: Spanish, French, German. Hats off to all you multi-lingual GC'ers. I can count to ten and tell you it is 6:30 in Spanish, and order a beer.

I'm left-handed.
I'm half-Latina, so I consider myself a south of the border-southern belle.
I'm a PK.
My birthday is Dec 24 and my mom's is Dec 26, so we got Jesus sandwiched.
I was in the same dorm with Oliver North's daughter in college.

I lived in North Pole, Alaska.
I live in denim. Jeans, jackets, dresses, shorts, vests..you name it. If it is denim then I love it!
Since I work from home I rarely shower and dress before noon unless I am meeting a client.
I used to think that Anchorage was a big city until I moved to Eugene, OR. which I thought was HUGE, until I moved to Tallahassee which I thought was so cosomopolitan until I moved to Dallas.
I didn't know that air conditioning was referred to as 'air' when I first moved out of Alaska. Someone asked me if I would put my car window up and they would put the air on......huh?

I am the only left handed grandchild on my mother's side. (41 grandkids)
I am double jointed.
I have lived or visited every state east of the Mississippi (Military brat).
I have lived in or visited Germany (3 years), France, England and Spain--all before the age of 18.
I hate wearing dresses--but was a cheerleader in HS.
I was in Who's Who of American High School Students in 1994.

-my extended family STILL thinks i am illegitimate, because my parents ran to NC, eloped, came back a week later, and went back home like nothing ever happened! nobody believes it happened! and actually, only my sisters and i have seen their wedding photos!
-i was due to be born on Super Bowl Sunday in '81. dad warned my mom to pick a day before or after, and i did!
-i have seen the movie "Dirty Dancing" a bazillion times, and just might go home today and pop it in...
-as a child i was the spitting image of my mother as a child. literally. my grandmother (her mom) couldnt tell our pictures apart. as a matter of fact, i can go out to a store near where she grew up and people will walk up to me and say "arent you Renee's daughter?" kinda creepy...

*I'm the first girl in 5 generations (on my dad's side obvi lol)
* I was named after my great, great, great, great grandmother who went to court so that nicknames could be used in place of full names (Her name was Margaret, but went by Maggie, the gov't refused to acknowledge this name and she took them to court, so my parents named me in her memory as Margaret, but I go by Maggie )
*I'm native american, british, french and irish.
*I have 5 best friends, but my best friend Ashley and I have been bff's since we were 2
*i've never broken a bone (knock on wood) but i've sprained my ankle and wrist
*I have sleep apnea and narcolepsy (I got my tonsils out, so it's a LOT better, but I need to go back in for palate surgery or get a CPAP machine)
*i'm psychic (i wish i was more though... I think I need to focus lol) and my great great grandma on my mom's side was a witch (at least practiced wicca)
* I was never baptized though both my parents grew up in religous households.
* i'm an only child, but my parents divorced and are both remarried. I have two half sisters from my dad and my stepmom, they are 7 and 6 years old. that means we are 16 and 17 years apart from each other. From my stepdad I have two step sisters and two step brothers. I also have 2 "step" nieces and 2 "step" nephews.
*I lived in London for 5 months. I've been to Rome, Nice, Paris and Dublin.
