I am thirty five years old and going back to college to complete my bachelor's degree. While I am in school I want to join a BGLO (Fraternity).
I am well aware that joining the particular frat that I want to join requires a commitment to a "process". It is my desire to join at the undergraduate level instead of waiting until after I graduate to join a local alumni chapter. I can only assume that most undergrad frat members are considerably younger than me. As I move forward in my pursuance of this goal I want be very wise in my decision to do it. I am also married. I would appreciate any knowledge, advice, or opinions. In imparting your wisdom, think in terms of your experiences of the BGLO "undergraduate process". Thanks!
why would a mason become a baby mason?....backwards......

i had a mason get down once and when that wood hit ....he wanted to kill the bruhs. he regrets ever trying to pledge.

my advice is to look toward the West. Yahshua Saves

well let me give you a quote from a mason...this should help

To ALL non-masons and aspirants,

Don't pay attention to people who make statements like this^^ when it comes to Masonry;besides,I know who the person is that made the post I am replying to. YES, do your research. Please know that ALL organizations get stereotyped, talked about,etc..,especially the biggest organizations out here(e.g. Masonry). Masonry is the biggest influence on ALL Greek-Lettered Fraternities and sororities; And in particular with predominately black Masonry here in the U.S. (known as Prince Hall Masons and OES,etc.) is why the B.G.L.O.'s exsist today. YES,there are fake,"bogus" people out here that CLAIM to be Masons and OES...particularly in the Black community...all of them were started by expelled Prince Hall Masons(go research on this as well).White masons in the south( more than half of them) dont recognize any black mason (whether fake or legit)because of racism, but things are changing and getting better and technically,PRince Hall Masons and OES is recognized as "regular" and legit all over the world(we do have lodges and other houses in other countries and on military bases);what matters is...are you a 'mainstream'(white) or Prince Hall Mason or OES. YES, you have to pay dues if you become a member...JUST LIKE ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION (i.e. church, synagouge, mousk, boy scouts, girls scouts,etc..). And last but not least...you're NOT signing your life way...lol.Oh,and Masonry is NOT a relgion..

...that's why it's important to do research and speak with a Mason or Eastern Star in general.

If you read his other posts, you will see he is on a whole different planet. So don't pay him any attention.

he did not go over underground........but his paperwork is good.

from my research the prince hall masons are the father of all the bglo's. So masons joining bglo frats the old school way is silly. but i can see a mason becoming a paper brother or honorary member. But going on line for respect in the underground is like a son whippin his daddy and schoolin pops about the birds and the bees.

travel man Jesus loves you and if you know the Chief Cornerstone that the builders rejected ........ pray to Him(Yahshua THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD ) for direction in this critical season.

Hey lady greek aegis can not protect you from the love of Yahshua
