Just for fun I checked out their ADPi chapter to see if maybe this was a school-wide thing. Maybe my screen is off... or maybe it's at a weird angle, but I think it's sort of blue??
No it's definitely blue. It is a school wide thing. KD's house is green. Chi O's house is yellow with red shutters. Theta's house is yellow with black shutters. I love those houses.
I think that's pretty cool for the houses to be the group colors. I was picturing what they would do with a SK house. Lavender with maroon shutters or vice versa?
As far as cutting or pledging a group for dumb reasons, I know people who have pledged and also not pledged groups based on the (unflattering) nickname others had for the house.

Probably lavender with maroon shutters, since the houses are all pastel.
I thought of this today as I noticed that one of my parents' neighbours just had their house re-painted... lavendar with maroon shutters. On the right house, it could look ok, but this one is most definitely NOT the right house...
If they decide to take a picture of it, I'd love to see it!

That's good to know I wasn't seeing things! I thnk it's really cool that the houses are painted in sorority colors
