I moved to portland oregon from ny about a month ago and was wondering if anyone on here lives here? Im still looking for a job, but because i dont have one its hard to meet people my age!

A great way to meet people is to join your local alumnae association! Also, if there is a chapter nearby, advising is a good way to know a smaller group (and in my experience a younger demographic than the alumnae association).

I just moved to a new city and jumped into volunteering and have ended up meeting a ton of new people through that, as well. Try taking a class or joining a smaller gym - you will start to recognize faces and maybe find people you click with. I also started asking some of these random people out to lunch/coffee and have met some amazing people already. Good luck!

OMG !!! i just posted a thread about this a few weeks ago, i'm living in NY and my roommates (4 of us all together) are moving to portland in march!!!
we've never been there, and we know we should prob visit, but we don't know where we'll be living, etc, we'll definitely need a tour guide but what area are you living in? what brought you there? you can PM me if you want yay! i'm so excited!!!
