Great Job for DG"s. My daughter signed up for COB. She dropped out of rush due to the fact that many houses cut her because she was a 4x Chi O legacy. She was an easy drop as most houses assumed she would go Chi O. She did not want this house. She loved the DG"s. I know they have had cob parties this week and have heard that they only invited girls who cut them. I hope they expand their search. My daughter is a legacy and so loves this chapter. She has friends rooting for her, but as of yet has not received an invitation.

Thumbs up UGA recruitment

As a UGA alum I am totally pumped to hear the chapter pledged 42 girls - the pics are awesome - such beautiful new members! So I was just checking in to see how it was going and what the latest numbers were? Is there was anything we could do - a little something special for the girls - Aunt Hannah kind of stuff? Who could we direct our interest towards - is Blitch Ann Bird still with the chapter as an advisor?

Delta Iota support!

I haven't heard the latest numbers, but this is the year for the Delta Iota chapter to grow and be a force to be reckoned with. It would be great for you to do some Aunt Hannah kind of things for the women. I know they would appreciate the thought and support!

The other thing that really needs to happen is continuing to raise funds for the recent facade rennovation. In order to stay competitve, we have got to get that paid down.

You may already know about the website www.ugadgs.com that is all about the facade and how you can donate online. Spread the word to all UGA DG alums. We need their support for this!

I still hope that the UGA DG's will look for girls who are so interested in their chapter. If anyone knows about their COB's and if they are going to extend any more invites..please let me know. My daughter is so interested. She is a legacy and would love to be invited. I know that they have a ways to go to fill their house quota. She knows pledges who have recommended her as well as a couple of sisters.

Would love to know how your cob's are doing. I know there are plenty of girls who are interested. You could do so well. Private message me if you are interested.

Two bits of information:

Epsilon Rho (W Michigan) will relinquish its charter on Sept 2.

If you are interested in helping at Delta Iota, please contact their RCRS, Dawn Rowley, at RCRS3@deltagamma.org. She'll be glad to hear from you.

COB at Delta Iota is this week. Should know information towards the end of next week.

Thanks for the sad news about Epsilon Rho. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for them! I have removed them from the recruitment lists. Please do let us know when you hear Delta Iotas results, Titchou!

Along those same lines...

I was thinking of making a donation too. Something like $1 dollar for each of their new members; maybe I'll wait to get the final count from Titchou before contributing. I'm sure the chapter would love to get donations from all dgs, not only UGA alumnae. Then they will know they have all dgs supporting their chapter, not only the ones associated with Delta Iota!
