What did Dustin lie about to Amber? (I missed a few shows and am royally confused all around!)
And while I'm on the confusion subject, why do they hold Eric responsible for Nick leaving when he voted for Kail to go?

My guess is that he said he'd vote out Eric and then changed to Kail.

They think that Eric cast the first vote to cast suspicion on Nick, in order to set him up to be evicted the next week (Eric also threw a vote to Kail when they evicted Mike).

He promised that he'd vote Eric out and then didn't. Amber was going to do it herself but Dustin was like "no, don't go back on your word, I'll do it" and then he didn't. And now he's lying to the whole house saying that he DID vote Eric. So of course people are thinking it's the "mystery vote" again, when really it's not.
And as far as the whole Nick leaving thing... he blamed Nick for the two mystery votes before when he knew it was clearly himself. That in mind, e also brought his name up first and he always comes up with the perfect lil scenario for why to get rid of people. And as much as other people may want to deny it, he really does that a lot -- manipulates things that is (which of course is either genius or totally destructive).
EDIT: While I'm thinking about it, I can't imagine this season without ED. I mean, he at least ought to stay a few more weeks. And while he may be offensive and threatening to some, he will never stab you in the back bc he's too busy telling you to your face. That's GOT to be nice to know that you can trust him for that much. I'd strategically keep him around if I were in the house bc you could always know there's going to be someone else who wants to help you take him out later.
Oh, and I loved when they had all the rockers talk about him today. It was nice to see that people actually do know him.

According to feed watchers, Dustin admitted later on that he did vote out Kail. He probably just wanted to mess with people before the HOH comp.

See, from what I can recall - Eric never specifically said that it was Nick (I could've missed it), just agreed with the others when Amber was the first to accuse him. Obviously, it could've been the way the show was edited to show Eric in a good light, but there you go. This is the first year that I'm reading about the action on the live feeds.
Like him or hate him, I think Eric is playing the game (and there are definitely areas where being "America's Player" is a disadvantage to him). Part of the game is to get to the end without making that many enemies so that you can get the votes in the end - which is difficult to do with the idea that as HOH, you'd be the one seen as "responsible" for getting certain players out, which puts a target on your back. Additionally, since you can't compete for HOH the week after your "reign", you *usually* have no influence on who goes home, unless you can plant an idea in that week's HOH. There has to be a degree of maipulation and deceit in the game - show me a season where there hasn't been any and everyone loves everybody.
Just my opinion, but I'm glad Eric's still in the house and helping to stir things up - while Dick is good for entertainment value, I'm sick of seeing his tirades and sick of seeing Amber's crying every episode.

I'm with you---^^^^^^^^I pressed the wrong key...I meant thumbs up .
Highlight:
I watched AD last night and I have just had it with Dick...its not even entertaining anymore...the way he talked to Jameka, Amber, and Dustin last night was uncalled for. I see no strategy in telling someone they should be dead than be a mother. Nothing funny at all. Then Jen had the neeeeerve to say to Amber "you just gonna forgive Eric just like that?" How can she talk when Dick has called her everything but a child of God and poured tea on her head and now she is working with him when he is just using her. Jameka and Amber handled him last night though---I'm a little proud of Amber---mainly for not crying but she let him know all that bullying was not going to intimidate her. Dick even made the comment that if he is in sequester with her he would kill her---his words not mine. Ed has got to go b/c his little act has gotten old really quick.
