*** New Draft Time ***

All right, just because it came to me today, seeing as many of us are preferring a weekend draft, what about either THIS Saturday or sunday (Aug. 4-5), or three weeks later (Aug. 25-26)? I'm unavailable next weekend, and I believe possibly the following weekend as well (and we're coming up soon to the beginning of the season!)

Post here, discuss, whatever - let's just keep it fun!

So I just joined the league this evening. Hope that's not a problem.

I'm actually moving (cities and states!) in about 12 hours so it would be *lovely* not to do the draft this weekend. I'll need the time to finish putting the new place together. And I'll be without internet much of Saturday unless it's before noon Central Time. If it must be, it must. Although I'd really love to not have to Autodraft.

And sorry I was so slow at joining the league. Between the Bar Exam and moving places, I've been a little behind on my greekchat checking.

Sunday would be good....

Deadbear, if we all agree to do the draft this weekend and u aren't available, just set your pre draft ranks and the system will draft as proxy for you...just make sure you set it deep so that way you get a good portion of players that u want!

Any time during the weekend is good for me when it comes to the Draft....

I really enjoy live drafts...this will be fun

My conflicts for next weekend changed - does everyone want to keep the original time (Saturday at 11am PDT) or even switch it to next Sunday (the 12th)?

I apologize for the lack of communication - I meant to post this last night and time got away from me

The original time works fine for me (and better than the 12th in fact).

If we have an odd number of teams, are you going to make a dummy team? I don't think we can do head-to-head without an even number.

Go ahead and send me the address - like I said, if there's more interest than available teams, we can add teams if needed, or start a new league, too.

I forgot to put this in the last message - please let me know by this Thursday (8/9) if you want to do the draft this weekend at the original time or sometime on Sunday. Thanks!

I am completely unavailable this Saturday, I'll be at a convention. Sunday may work. Later would be better for me.

***Draft Update***

According to Yahoo:
Your live online draft is set for Sat Aug 11 10:00am PDT [ Add to My Calendar ], which is 1 day, 19 hours, and 44 minutes from now (test your system). Please arrive at least 10 minutes early since your draft will start promptly at the assigned time. You can rank your players up until 45 minutes before your draft.

The draft order will be randomly determined approximately 30 minutes before the draft begins.

Your Head-to-Head league will not be able to start the season if it contains an odd number of teams.

Currently, we have 9 teams, so we need at least one more team to play. Deadbear - would a late afternoon time on Sunday work for you, just thinking that way (I think) all players can participate in the live draft.

If it doesn't work, then we may just stick with the normal time, and I apologize for the conflicts
