I see your point, but like I said, it seems very normal to me. I would expect other family members to refrain from naming a kid Fred because they would think it's George's prerogative to use that name. And I would expect George to name his son Fred -- and I trust George not to expect little Fred to be brother Fred reincarnated.
The real question is -- who did George marry?

Perhaps it's just "too soon" for me. I just lost Fred and in my mind George did too. 5 years later may be different. It's also part of what she said about George never quite getting over it... *shrug* just my POV.
I do wonder who he married, both twins dated during school but there's no mention of girls after their grand exit in OotP.
