I have a question about drafting...do we all have to do live draft, or can I opt out and choose auto draft? I'm not really around the computer much during non-business hours, so I don't know that I could commit to a live draft.

if you dont plan on partaking in the draft then set your auto ranking and the computer will do it for you...the only minus is, you may not get all the players you want.

Yeah we did auto draft in the past, but I didn't know if everyone had to do it, or if some could do live and some could do auto. Yahoo lets you rank who you want and they try to base your auto draft off of that...I'll just take my chances.

I've never been the "commissioner" for anything like this before, so I'm not sure how it works - I know the last few years we did auto draft, and not everyone was happy with it and wanted to try live draft.

Would an afternoon time for the draft work better for everyone? That way if you're typically on the computer around work time, you can still participate, and others who have some flexibility in their schedules to be on the computer could participate, as well?

I'm just trying to throw out options here

polarpi...I run at least 4 leagues a year...if you need advice, you can IM me later and we can discuss...for now...what you can do is:

1. set your draft time and make sure it's agreeable...so far I like when u have it set up

2. Set your draft rankings (random or ordered)

3. check your stat settings...which is what we can discuss also

I can't do a draft from work. Weekend afternoons are okay, just not weekday afternoons.

I did a live draft in the Yahoo league I commish last year. Not everyone was able to make it so the computer picked for those who weren't there based on their player rankings and who was available.
