The whole thing was just a riot.
(Who in RL when told that a work of fiction is remarkably similar to her life story, basically response with "well, I have no interest in reading that?" Most of us would be really interested, and it'd be a reason to seek out something we wouldn't normally be interested in. "My life story in young adult literature; you don't say? I'll look into that" seems a more realistic response, it seems to me. )
And whatever compelled the writer to start it probably would have compelled her to keep going; fighting, snipping, and pretending, but it has all the signs of a trainwreck, so the lock is understandable. I think moderators are obligated to pretend that the OP is real when things are degenerating. Most of us had basically called the OP a liar one way or another, and if she was real, that wouldn't be acceptable.
But still, I do want to know what a person (even a fictional character) who is demonstrated to think like that would do to the rest of the story.
About not identifying chapters in retro-threads, I think it builds suspense. Even if you know the final GLO, you can still wonder if your group is in the running. And it can free people up to say what they really thought while still being panhellenic in spirit if they never ID all the groups.
