It depends. I'm not overly friendly or warm, so hugging someone I don't know well is not something I'm very comfortable with. The only "strangers" I hug are Sorors I just met.

Initially, the only strangers I hugged were sorors also. But with all that hugging I learned being in a sorority, it has rubbed off on me in regular life. I'm a lot more open to showing affection now than I was before. I can still be a tad bit cold though, lol.

I didn't used to be a hugger. Then I moved to NYC and was forced into becoming a "greeting kisser" - everyone does the half hug with a kiss on the cheek. Ugh! I hated it. I've gotten used to it now, though, and it's made hugging not only seem like no big deal, but a preferred greeting!

Oh, I am a hugger, not only My Brothers, but their Wives, and Kids!

We are very close as they are our extended Family of the Zeta.

Oh, one of My Brothers Passed # 4, and His Wife came to Pierce Stock, and is always welcome to any function!

Did She have a good time!

Hell Yes, She knew so many of us!

Oh, remember, I started the whole thing and they are like My Kids! All 638 of them!
