What is the newest version of the Gamma Phi history book?

Does anyone know what the most recent version of the Gamma Phi Beta "history" book is? Is it something alums can purchase from IHQ?

You used to be able to purchase it, I would guess they still have some. Just call them up and ask. The receptionist will be able to direct you to the correct person to help.

Thank you...I'll call IHQ. I used to have a book ...maybe from the early 80s...?? but I wondered if there's a more updated version. Reason for asking is about the history of Tiffany & Co designing our badge. I don't think I ever heard that as a collegian. Is there any reference to the history of the design/manufacture of the earliest badges somewhere? I worked in the fine jewelry industry and caught the bug for collecting vintage pieces. I had no idea our own badge had a history with Tiffany! (but it is a truly gorgeous piece!) If anyone knows more...please share!

Yes, it's mentioned in the History book I do believe. I believe the original design was by Tiffany & Co.

You have "The Gift from Syracuse". I got the same thing as a pledge in 1987. The updated one is wonderful.

The newer history book is awesome - my "new member" class was the first one at my chapter to get it - so I think it must have come out in 2001 or so.

It is great - but I'd love to see us do a big, hardcover "coffee table"type history with lots more pictures!
