I have several pairs of Skechers with criss-cross straps that velcro close and I swear they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. They come in a few different colors - my pink ones always draw comments.

I have the black Sketchers ones. I wore them barefoot to work (restaurant... must wear closed toe shoes comfy shoes) and I had some major blisters. I did buy those little sockies that you wear with heels and it helped, but you can see the sock. With socks they are pretty comfortable.

This may be a state thing, and sure didn't stop the lady in Colchester from delievering food barefoot with a cigarette in her mouth, but I thought socks were required for waitresses?
