I thought I was the only one thinking that!

The show so far is ok but i thought it would be a little better. I also agree that the "hood" girl serves no purpose at this point. I will give the show at least another week to GRAB my attention and if it doesnt well so long for Baldwin Hills!

I was surprised to see Gerren on the show. She was the girl who started modeling at 11 or 12, I think. I don't know how much of show is totally scripted but they have her just acting really wild and rude to her mom. Hopefully being in "industry" at such a young age has not made her this way. So I am guessing this is all an act.

Co-sign. I can't even stand watching Sweet 16 anymore because I just want to take a switch to those kids.

I guess the "hood 1" . .(gosh I felt bad 4 refering to her as that but I just can't remember her name ) she could potentially serve some purpose as it seems that she has that mutual guy friend that connects her to the others from the hills. Plus, she has a mild "friendship" with the other girl and the jelousy thing with the other intense 1. Maybe she gets weaved in later . . . idk . . 1 thing is for sure, it seemed that this show is geared for tweens and teens

I've been sucked into watching it. When I was in my early 20s, I lived in View Park, a nearby community, with great, parental-type landlady and landlord (who were a Delta and Omega, BTW). Also, I have met Soror Vanessa and have a picture with her, so I am curious about her Ashley.

I feel the exact same way. The show is soooo scripted. Why cant BET make the shows look nicer and come up with their own ideas? The show is wrong representation of kids from l.a.

I saw both eps I think last Thursday and I was like why is Vanessa Bell Calloway in this awful acting mess, then I found out Friday that her actualy daughter is playing her actual daughter on gthe show, and all I can say is this show really does suck. Th acting of you can call it that is really, really bad.

I watched last night and am slowly being sucked into it. I admit that I was intrigued by Elaine Theus. Reggie was one of the classic pretty boys back in the day and wondered who he married. Roqui looks like her mom.

I've been watching it also. It's not completely horrible, but the narration throws it off a little. I'll continue watching, but it does not "move" me in the same way Laguana Beach and The Hills do. So far my favorite person is Staci. Except for the cursing she's cool.

I so agree with you! I thought I was the only person that like The Best Years (and let me say - that after she would have turned me purple, I would kicked Kathryn's @$$ but I digress).
I tried to watch Baldwin Hills and it put me to sleep.

Ok, I missed the ep the other night, so are you saying that Roqui is Reggie Theus daughter, he was a serious honey dip back in the day...I loved going to the games when his team came to town to play the Sixers just to see his fine-self.
