This is the biggest twist yet!

At Purdue you are not allowed to participate in COB as a freshman unless you participated in formal rush so I had to wait until the next fall.

Does anyone know if it's still like that? I guess I see what they were trying to do, but I don't know if it's really kosher.

It is not still like that, and Purdue has fall recruitment (over 2 weekends) now.

I guess I will name the last four houses because I am having trouble wirting without confusing people. I will call them IU, OSU, UC, and XU.

After second round I really was not feeling a connection with IU or OSU, and I heard some hazing rumors about IU. I guess you always hear those rumors about someone.

I liked UC, but I was really worried because as we walked down the main hall I stepped on a rug that right after I felt like I shouldn't have. It was not their crest, but I still felt bad.

I had met a couple of XU girls between rounds 1&2, and they came up to say hi during the round 2 party. I was starting to think that this might be a fit, but my heart was not set on them.

Then came the long wait until after Christmas break. I'll tell you this was torture. I knew several girls who went through rush as sophomores because they dropped freshman year because they did not want to come back early from Christmas break. In my opinion Purdue did a great thing when they changed rush dates.
