The concept is to keep stuff out of the landfill. Started by some crunchy granola folks in San Francisco no doubt but it is a fantastic thing. People give away furniture, appliances, clothing, toys - you name it.
I picked up a high end patio
chaise lounge last week - matches my furniture really well and these are about $150. Not even a scratch on it.
I've gotten handbags, toys, huge bag of high end samples, lotions etc.
I've given away tons of baby stuff, household stuff. It is a win win for everyone.
Everyone should look into it and tell a friend or three.
