I'm sorry, steroids and "roid rage" do not fly with me as a reasoning for this. His actions show some serious mental break down in morality and reasoning. Roid rage is shooting or beating someone in, well, a rage. This... I don't know. Some of those deaths above are just natural to any large group of people. A man who shoots himself isn't necessarily doing it because of steroids. Depression is way more likely.

I think the term is a misnomer.
A lot of people on steroids and other drugs associated are noted to go thru depression and mental break downs....look at that list of names that was posted...note that some of them committed suicide or OD'ed due to severe depression

steroids by themselves will mess you up bad. so can depression. combined, i cant see why it couldnt have contributed to this tragedy.

I'm guessing he WON'T be included on Smackdown Vs. Raw 2008.

I was wondering the same thing on another thread...or will he be an unlockable character....u know...a lot of the wrestlers that have died over the years have never appeared post mortem on the games except Eddie and Kurt Hennig....
U know...right now...I am listening to a report on ESPN and here is a question...
1. Is this 'karma'? Remember Vince McMahon went to court back in the 90s and now all of these guys are dying....and dying young....
2. Will this fire up more congressional hearings over all athletic activities and steroid use?

It's not just the death thing though, it's the killing thing.
And I still think steriods had little to nothing to do with it. You could argue that they affected his mental state, but this wasn't roid rage. It was too well planned, thought out and executed.

Just when you thought things couldn't get any stranger, it turns out that Chris Benoit's wikipedia page was edited 14 hours PRIOR to the bodies being found stating that Benoit missed the PPV event due to the death of his wife. WTF?!?
Was he the one that edited that?
Benoit's wiki page edited 14 hours prior to bodies being found
