It is Thursday I believe...but no biggie...it says all events where the attire is not specific, we are to wear business casual. So I am good to go!

PS: I am bringing a ridiculous amount of shoes! haha

Lyrica, this is what I'm bringing:
* Semi-formal dress (more cocktail dress)
* Formal dress
* White dress
* Business attire

And then the shoes I need - I think I have something like 6 pairs in my suitcase!

Diamond 4-Point is always a luncheon- likely Thursday lunch.
The Awards banquet is the final night and that's where we wear the formal stuff. The Old Timers night is the dinner that the Alum Directors put on and that's the one where we'll have animal prints

I packed today- I always shock myself with the number of shoes to take to convention!

I keep thinking my dresses aren't "dressy" enough. They are pretty and in style - kind of flowie but not quite a cocktail dress. I have heard, however, that I will see everything from a formal gown to a sunday dress on the "formal" night - SO, I am making a decision to just bring all of my nice dresses and decide when I get there which one to wear (not that I have that many)

PLUS - AND I hope I recieve some smilies for this - I have just lost over 60 lbs so any of my dresses from last year won't work any more.

(Before you ask - Nutrasystem {and alot of excercise and water})

YAY ME!!! but Then again now I have to buy a bunch of clothes. (which is alot more fun in a size 10 as oppose to a size 20.

Wow how is that for getting side tracked about me me me.

In case I don't get on GC prior to convention (I am bringing my computer so I will check in when I get there) YALL HAVE A GREAT WEEK if I miss seeing yall or I miss the group pic.

Hey girls, sorry for the crash here, but I wanted to make sure y'all knew that Logan is not known for its quickness in getting your luggage to baggage claim! It's one of the things I despise most about this airport, it can take 5 minutes to get your bags or it can take 45 minutes.

I hope y'all have fun here in Boston and have some time to see the city! It's a great place to just wander around! If you have any questions on where to see if you have free time, feel free to ask! And have a great time at your Convention!

Basically, I was almost completely packed by last night - it's the odds and ends I'll be putting in tomorrow morning as I get ready for my 6:20am pickup for my 8:45 flight! (Oh, and I'm a *little* concnerned about overbooking - I couldn't choose a seat in order to check-in online today

)

See you all probably sometime on Wednesday - if I remember correctly, dinner's at 7 ~ do we want to try and meet for picture around 6:45?

So I started packing today. Woo hoo. Not much left clothing wise to pack up just a couple of things. More the odds and ends I have to pack up and I'll do that tomorrow sometime. My flight leaves at 11:20pm. Gotta love those red eyes

I don't think we decided when to meet up, so how about an executive decision

, let's all meet up on Wednesday at 6:45.

I sooo need to go get a purple ribbon tomorrow.

Sisters - I have extra violet ribbons, so if you need one, I can get it to you (rather than you going out specifically to buy ribbon, which you probably would wind up buying more than needed anyway!)

I'm getting excited - time to put the computer to bed and in my carry-on

Brianna, I have extra ribbon, so I will bring mine too! I think that 6:45pm Wednesday night will be great ...maybe near the check-in area or where we will be eating? I think that some of the ladies went early - alphadeltapiup, jwright, etc, so we can always give them a call when we get there.

My suitcase is overflowing and it probably weighs more than the 50 pound limit! I may have to divide my stuff into two bags. Our flight leaves tomorrow morning at 7:45am....ugh!

I am SO excited!!! See you all TOMORROW!!!

She wasn't kidding! Took about 35-40 minutes for me. USAirways.... Weather is lovely! Hotel under lots of construction and remodeling. Be prepared.

oh right, we didnt mention the construction part did we

think of navigating through it as your cardio each day!

if anyone gets this before they come- the forecast has changed to hot and humid through thurs I think and then nice and enjoyable from fri-sun.

not that you can go outside to the pool like in Phoenix but in case you wanted to know!

HOTEL BAD - ADPi Convention GOOD - I am here but I havent seen any violet ribbons - then again I am not wearing one either.
