Party Like a Rock Star by Shop Boyz-I think it's one of the dumbest songs on the radio, but my husband LOVES it!

I really cannot stand how he says POCKET I hear the song has some exclusive D.C. vernacular, I'm not from D.C. so maybe I don't appreciate as much

I don't know who sings the song about being suicidal, but I can't stand it.

The hey bay bay song is a total mess. I have a question about the white girl song. Isn't Christina Aguilera half Latina? Anyway, that song about the coffee shop is horrible also.

I was talking to a friend the other day about songs nowadays being 'throw away songs.' We won't listen to any of these in 3 months or 3 years. But it didnt used to be like this. I still jam to Isley Brothers, Al Green, Gladys and the Pips, etc and those are decades old. Are there any songs from the past year or so that you think we'll be able to jam to in 10 years?

Co-sign big time on that! I tried explaining to my kids about the wackness of today's hip hop, cause they are just made for the moment...to fill radio space, make new sayings, new dances..and ultimately to annoy the hell out of us Unfortunately, my kids are the #1 consumers of this music...youth WHY do you buy into this...WHYYY?!

Akon-Sorry, blame it on me

I just heard it yesterday...WACK it is just too boring and talk about digging yourself into a deeper hole:

I’m sorry for Club Zen getting shut down
I hope they manage better next time around
How was I to know she was underage
Enter 21 you know the club they say
Why doesn’t anybody wanna take blame

Sometimes it's best to just keep your mouth shut Akon...no seriously stick to singing hooks

Party Like A Rockstar. I swear I hate it. It gets no play on my radio.

And I don't like Rihanna's "Umbrella", but my husband loves it.

The Umbrella remix with Chris Brown...sounds like a HS talent show

Krispy even though that beat is catchy.

The remix sounds like they picked a word out of a hat that rhymes with "Umbrella"

Ummmm.... Bella, Hella... I know.. Cinderella... sigh. Chuck D was on Tavis's show and talked about how music was so disposable. I'm ready for a change.

I'm such a bad Bajan, but i really dislike most songs by Rihanna. Her voice just irritates the heck outta me and this Umbrella song make her sound so common (Bajan equivalent to ghetto). Ella, ella eh, eh, what the hell is that.

i don't even know who it's by but the video is HORRIBLE. i mean, i understand that flashy cars and video girls are a prerequisite, but seriously, who is still throwing paper money at the camera??
