DC: It's Academic. i think it's the longest running kid's quiz show or something. That's the only local show i can think of, besides the news. I will NEVER forget when HD Woodson won! It had to have been the 94-95 school year. That was probably the last time I remember a public school winning, not to mention a school east of the river.

I also loved Captain 20 during the weekdays -- remember how the kids would slide down a slide or something?

Captain 20? Boy I know you can't be that old! That was on when I was a child. But since you remember Captain 20 -- do you remember a dance show called "Soul of the City" with the Moon Man? We put Soul Train down for that one!!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 was one of the funniest shows on TV. those robots cracked me up every Saturday. i was so sad when it went off
