That was absolutely beautiful... I didn't even need to know what words were spoken to know there was a lot of loving flowing in that room. What a beautiful couple!!!! Man! Whew! That brother had his game together you hear me!?

He clearly had his game together. I hope you all listened to this with the sound on. I guess I should have mentioned that. The song that is playing is wonderful too.

It seems like he really thought about her and what was important to her when he was planning this.

Wow that brought a tear to my eye for real!! How beautiful! And the whole family participated. How could you possibly say no to that?

I should also mention to play this with the sound on.
This was really beautiful. She held up well, because I would have been emotionally exhausted, lol.

If this was the engagement, what the heck is the wedding going to be like?!

No kidding. I was waiting for them to walk into a room and have a priest standing ready...since they had the flowers, the family, the white dress, the hotel...etc...

Ditto to both, Soror. I would've had to take a break a few times, makeup checks, inhaler...the works. lol.

They're going to have to post up pics of the wedding, whoever they are, GC needs to be a part of this! lol.

That was beautiful!

Does anyone know the name of the song playing or the artist?

I agree. Outstanding! He is a fantastic story teller. When I get married, I will fly this guy out here to Cali!

When I get engaged, I would hope that the man would know that I prefer white metals to yellow metals (at least for rings) and how to pick a diamond or other stone of good quality, no matter the size. Also, I would hope that he would know that I would prefer something timeless like a round as opposed to something more trendy for which you can clearly tell 10 years later the decade in which you were married. Remember all those people with the marquis cut rings from the late 80s early 90s?

At any rate, it's HIS choice since it is his gift to me ... I just hope that he exercises some taste that would be aligned with my own. LOL. Besides, I guess that I'd be thinking more about what it all means - the marriage for the rest of my life as the engagement is such a short period (hopefully) compared to the rest of my life with someone.

ETA: "When I get engaged *again*" since I just remembered that I was engaged about 12 or so years ago when I was 19. It was love for sure b/c that ring was a sure enough mess. lol...yellow gold, cloudy. When he handed it to me, I knew that it was a CZ...talk about being a diva early in life, lol. I could eyeball a diamond vs. a CZ even at 19. But it was all good. I wore it with pride...cloudy, yellow gold CZ ring and all. And that's real.
