I am TOTALLY loving Family Force 5's CD "Business Up Front/Party In The Back". I think "Kountry Gentleman", "Supersonic", and "Put Ur Hands Up" are my favorites.
People are sooooo sleeping on them.

One of my husband's all time faves. He was lucky to see them live twice in Montreal and apparently, they put on a bangin' show

I'm adding Christina Aguilera to my list.
Just browsed through YouTube and found her tribute to This Is a Man's World. I had forgotten how blown away I was when I watched it the first time. Sang girl!!!

Christina's always been a great singer IMO...I'm not feeling this new look or image of hers though...I wasn't feeling the one she had for Stripped..but she put out her best songs yet during that time...wish she would do a Modern Classy Look to go along with her voice

Some of you may be too young to remember them but the Scotsmen, the "Average White Band," were the @$@# back in the day. That's real soul music! They Hall & Oates and Teena Marie represent the essense of what this thread is all about.

Preach on, brutha! I was just rediscovering "One on One" by Hall & Oates the other day. They just don't make music like that these days.

I've got to go old school '70s again and, this time, take you to the Great White North,Canada, and bring to GCers two hits deserving of this thread:
"I Just Wanna Stop" by Gino Vanelli
"Wildflower" by Skylark (which was subsequently covered and popularized in the 'hood by New Birth).
