I just bought some of the Physicians formula Mineral Wear foundation and the translucent mineral veil loose powder. I put it on for the first time today, i must say that is a lot lighter than the Outlast, and it is pretty close to my skin tone. We'll see how this goes.

Back in November, I asked if anyone had tried Model in a Bottle. Well, I did and it works very well - your makeup may still come off some, but not as much, and it gives your face a nice, matte finish. If you can find a store that sells it, try that, or order it online from the website of the same name.

I love Bare Radiance! If you have Lovely blush, mix 1 part Lovely with 1 part BR. It's stunning.

I do have the Lovely Blush because it came with the "three perfect blushes" kit i purchased a few months back hehe. I recommend that kit too BTW. I highly recommend the fruit smoothies. They are my favorite eye shadow kit by far. The colors do well with my skin tone/foundation (fairly light most of the year with light in the summer and fall). Fruit smoothies also go well with most outfit color combos as well. It's some color but it's not over done on the color esp. for daytime/work wear. Make sense?
What is the Love Bird kit? I havent heard of that one.
I think i need to start as excel spreadsheet to keep track of everything I have so i have it at my fingertips when i make online purchases (as sad as that sounds)

Almost all of my skin care and makeup products come from Origins. It's one of the few lines I'm not allergic to.
Some of my favs from Origins:
- Stay Tuned and Reflection Perfection foundation
- Pinch Your Cheeks cheek stain gel
- Checks and Balances face wash (someone else here said it's a gift from God, and she's right)
- Never A Dull Moment face polisher
- Night-A-Mins moisturizing cream
- A Perfect World lotion
- You're Getting Warmer, Clear Improvement and Out of Trouble masks
- Spot Remover
Someone earlier asked about their new mushroom lotion (Dr. Weil's Youthtopia). I have tried several samples, and it makes my skin glow and feel really smooth, but I just won't buy it at what it costs. Origins has other great products that are more affordable.
Other stuff I use:
- Olay Complete face lotion with SPF 15 (it works great and is cheap)
- Clinique loose translucent powder
- L'Oreal Featherlash mascara (I was blessed with very long eyelashes, but this stuff is amazing...it separates the lashes well and makes them look a mile long)
- Sonia Kashuk blush (from Target...I don't notice a difference between cheap and expensive blush, so I might as well get it at a steal)
- Stila and Bobbi Brown eyeshadow, eyeliner and lipstick
- Shiseido blotting papers

Love Bird was last fall's QVC auto-delivery and this one will be the third of four. I finally hit enough Coke Rewards last night for a $25 Sephora GC, and used that with my Sephora Rewards newbie 15% discount for the Fruit Smoothies and the Junior Lip Guards.
PS--believe it or not there is a spreadsheet. They update it over at BE Addicts pretty regularly with the new stuff. PM me with your email and I'll ship you a blank.

Tell me about these, please. I love my philosophy, but am a mask junkie especially if they are good for somewhat sensitive/tempramental skin.

Is the Featherlash waterproof and if not, how does it hold up to the occasional watery eyes due to allergies? I need to pick up a new mascara before the end of the month and might try it if it stays put.
I'm not BE or philosophy loyal when it comes to mascaras. I have a few sealed BE mascaras in my stash that I'll never use! I've tried the philosophy one, but I can't fathom spending $25-30 on a tube of mascara. Speaking of those BE mascaras, I'll send the first two GCers who PM me their mailing info each a tube. These are the Big Tease mascaras and not waterproof, but the brush is cool. They did not come sealed, but I promise they have never been opened and have been stored in a dark and cool location.

AOIIAlum, you can read about the Origins masks here: http://www.origins.com/templates/pro...D=CATEGORY5812 They all work well! I do notice a difference in my skin afterward. The Out of Trouble mask is a little smelly, so the other two are my favorite. Especially You're Getting Warmer, because it smells like cinnamon/nutmeg and gradually warms up. Spot Remover is a blemish gel that gets rid of any inflammation.
I have really super sensitive skin, so when I find something that works for me, I stick with it. Origins specializes in sensitive skin and I've never had a bad reaction to any of their products.
L'Oreal's Featherlash Mascara does come in a waterproof formula, and it works well.

I use either Mayblienne or Covergirl for most of my makeup. Though I found a really cool glitter shine by Rimmel that I love. I am too poor to buy department store makeup, but I usally get some as gifts. My fav is Elizabeth Arden, I love their lip glosses!!! I don't know why exactly, but they are just better than other stuff I use. I have a hard time finding a foundation that matches my face color. I spend a lot of time out in the sun during the summer, so my color changes all the time! Any suggestions?

I have a question....
I love makeup, but I wear glasses and it's hard to find things to accentuate my face... Anyone got any good ideas?

have you ever had your makeup done at a department store? they might have some great tips for you.
don't be afraid to tell them how you want the end result to look-they can sometimes get carried away and you end up looking like you should go stand on the street corner.

I wear glasses too, and the one thing I've learned is that you really can go bolder or dramatic or go a bit sparkly behind glasses. Mascara is your friend, even if you don't have time to do anything else on your eyes! I've been trying to get the smoky eye down since my eyes are so dark anyway.
There are a lot of makeup tips and tutorials here and here, so have fun!

I loooove Dior Show mascara. I'm lazy and don't take it completely off at night, so I usually do end up with raccoon eyes in the morning, but that's easily fixed.
I just bought this foundation from Sephora yesterday and so far it's been great!

I use Dior Show now and to be honest, I am not that impressed. I was disappointed because I had heard awesome things and rave reviews. It just didn't live up to the hype for me.
eta: Maybe I'm applying the mascara wrong. I apply it normally, bottom to top with a slight wiggle of the brush. 2 coats. Does Dior Show have a special trick I missed? I just don't understand why everyone else loves it and I am just not impressed. I'm weird like that I guess.

I use MAC Studio Fix foundation and powder, Benefit Dandelion powder (as a blush), light brown Stila eyeliner and Clinique mascara. I also use Philosophy's Purity facewash and Hope in a Jar moisturizer (BEST PRODUCT EVER) and their Big Skinny self-tanner.
I don't own eyeshadow - I have tried just about every color and NONE look good on me. I'm really pale with light reddish brown hair and blue eyes, and eyeshadow always makes me look like a raccoon.
