The "high and mighty"-ness could have been quelled with a simple "no."
She did not know. Was she supposed to, or did she not read the book on the dos and don'ts of being Greek?

I was in a local sorority at my school but the disorganization and craziness made me feel like i should not be there. My question is if im interested in joining a divine nine would i be able to since the sorority i was in before was local and only at one school

I would imagine that it depends on the rules of that particular organization as well as the sentiment of the members of that chapter.
For me, even if Alpha said it was okay, I'd have to truly look at the person and the org before i decided whether it was a deal-breaker for me.
