thank you SummerChild...there are a few things in there i needed to know! i also noticed in newer cars there is a glow-in-the-dark tag hanging in the trunk, and it has instructions on how to pull it if you get put into the trunk. i must admit i wondered if it worked so i put my fiance in my trunk and sure enough, it popped right open... also, i ALWAYS keep the GPS option on my phone active. you just never know when someone will need to find you, or worst case scenario the last place you've been...

i did the same thing at the dealership before buying my last car.
