How many years were supposed to have passed between little boy Ben meeting Richard in the jungle and older Ben killing Roger Workman? Richard didn't age at all and I had been under the impression that Ben was older. Jacob the Invisible was freaky! I was tingling during that scene. I love love love that my Locke prayers have been answered. At least seamingly answered.
eta: The voices! I'm so stoked that the writers remembered the voices!

X-Files is my favorite show of all time, but the last two seasons were sooooo awful. It really killed it.

I think that's intentional - it has something to do with the weird island and the "first" people there...

Maybe the Hostiles (is that what they were referred to?? I don't remember) don't age... Which would make Ben look older now.

Ben is the creepiest mofo EVER! And why hasn't Richard aged?
I still don't trust Juliet.

Spoilers for the Season Finale and Previews for Season 3
I really only trust those that come out of the mouths of Carlton Cuse & Damon Lindelof. Still, it sounds exciting.
FYI: My hubby noticed something. Locke was shot around where his kidney would be. Perhaps that's the side where he's missing a kidney?
Finally, check out this video. You can see Jacob! It's slowed down to get a glimpse of him. He's the bearded man.

Whoa! BDE, your observation skills always amaze me! Good eye!
And in other news, here is a photo of Jacob:

Also..."Jacob" and "Jack" are basically the SAME NAME. I wonder where this could lead?
I need to know the answers, NOW!! (the island is where the dead seem to walk: Yemmi, Ben's Mom, Jack's father, etc.)

I find it rather odd that Richard (the hostile that didn't age a day) didn't seem too surprised when Ben mentioned his mom was dead but he'd seen her & talked to her.

Some things that I was wondering about:
-was Rousseau already pregnant when she arrived on the Island and therefore, was Alex born on the Island? I don't think Alex is the biological daughter of Ben's. That would make Ben her de-facto "adopted" father (i.e. Alex was kidnapped by Ben and the Hostiles and Ben is the only "father" that she knows). Who is Alex's biological father? And who does Alex "know" as a her de-facto adopted mother? Or does she have no mother figure that she identifies with?
-by Ben agreeing to the genocide, was his childhood friend Annie killed? Is that why he seems to be "haunted" by those little wooden dolls? It would be appear that for him to join the Hostiles, everyone in Dharma had to be obliterated, except for him (including little Annie). Or is Rousseau and "Annie" the same person? Remember how Rousseau kept on saying that she with a group of scientists and that they're now all dead? That would make sense, given the gassing genocide that we saw. Maybe Rousseau is the grown up Annie? But then again, the name that Rousseau gave was "Danielle".
-So...what happened to Annie, and who is Alex's real father?

Rousseau was already pregnant when she, her husband, and a group of sceintists crashed their ship on the island. Rousseau later killed the scientists when they got sick. Alex likely was raised to believe her "mom" died at birth. We don't know what happened to Annie.

I also want to know why Jacob (who is seemingly all-powerful) said, "Help me" to Locke? Maybe Ben has tied up Jacob to the chair and made him a prisoner? Or Jacob recognizes that Ben's power is leading to a "perversion" of what the Island is supposed to be about, whereas Locke has more of a sincere "one-ness" with the Island? (Ben recognized it and was threatened by it, hence his shooting Locke).
Also, remember when they first discovered Desmond in the Hatch, and Desmond was all crazy and was all, "Are you HIM?". I wonder if Jacob is the HIM. Hmmmm......

I read it in the LOSTpedia. That's why I thought what he was doing last episode was so damn adorable and depressing at the same time.

I just realized that the woman Charlie saved from the mugging was Nadia, Sayids true love.
