It's also possible that Jill Marie Jone didn't want to come back to the show.
If I recall correctly, she left the show.
Urbanizd---I agree, bring back Half & Half!! I loved that show. Big Dee's wigs, Lil' Dee's clothes, Mona's boyfriend...what was not to love?

JMJ or No Toni!!!
I think that if the show returns and if Toni returns (for the wedding), Jill Marie Jones won't play Toni.
If that's the case, I'd rather they leave Toni alone and leave where she is.

Girlfriends was renewed for an 8th season as a 22 episode order.
I was praying for them to show Toni. I was a little surprised to see Tia (or Tamara (sp.?), which ever one it is) and her co-star come through the door, why??? But I know they are both Kelsey Grammar shows, but it still should have been Toni! It was a very good show. I was in tears towards the end, probably because I was not sure if I was looking at the final show or what. But I did some research this morning and found on the web that there is going to be an 8th. Thank God! The show is still so popular.

The Mowry twin is Joan's cousin which is a huge nod to continuity to include her in the episode the other night.

Oh. OK. I was really trying to figure that out. I had no idea she was Joan's cousin on the show. Thanks.
It would have been really interesting to see how Morgan looked.

Glad to hear it is staying around. The show missed the harmony without Toni, but it wasn't so bad...it got better towards the end. Hopefully the story lines will get better in the 8th season...

Ugh. I hope this is not true. The show needs to go while it's still on top...or in the middle...well, it hasn't hit rock bottom yet.

Oh, my bad. I had no idea that Wiki was a bad site. Sorry about that. I looked all over the CW website and I could not find anything that said the show was officially over. That was when I found the info on Wiki. I was not aware that the site was under fire. My bad ladies. But I do hope that it will go for just one more season. I would just like to see Joan get married and Mya have the second baby. Even if it only lasts for just half of a season. I will be satisfied with that.
Once again, sorry for that info. I thought Wiki was reliable.

Wiki can be reliable at times, but I've learned to double check some of the things reported there, especially with pop culture information.
I read this article yesterday where Mara Brock Akil says 8th season will be decided in a few weeks, but not by her. She is still waiting to find out herself.
