At any rate, I think it would be nice to wear letters... Good PR for anyone who might see us/overhear us in the restaurant -- it shows that Greeks can have fun together, no matter what organization they are individually affiliated with!
Plus, even if a table is reserved under a specific name, there's always a chance that someone might overlook it. Wearing letters would prevent anyone from driving an hour to get to the meeting and then be upset by not being able to find our group. (This happened to me last weekend, btw, with one of my alumnae groups! The table was reserved under a sister's name, but when I asked the host where my group was, he told me that there was no one there by that name. Turns out they were in a corner and I couldn't see them from the entrance. So taking the host's word and thinking that I had gotten the day wrong, I turned around and went home!
