Madmax - In our case, 100% of our members are taking summer classes and the majority of students at our college take summer classes.

Anyway, thanks again for all of the advice, it's very helpful!
Given that information, it wouldn't hurt to hold summer COR events and to use that information to inform your fall recruitment decisions...

It's possible that some desirable PNMs may not be on campus from May-August, so you might just want to hold some "get to know you" events in that time... why not hold some philanthropy activities/events during the summer and give out bids in the fall following some official COB activities?

I'm with everyone else on this one. I would also cut back on the weekly meetings to maybe once a month. I know most schools offer summer classes as 6 week sessions and not a semester, so the classes are more intense than if you took them in a semester.

There were always several of my sisters on campus each summer working or taking classes, and a lot lived nearby. But we would hold 2 Summer Retreats at a sister's parent's house to plan the fall semester events, and just hang out with each other. We also did a lot of random hang out times to. Jersey makes hanging out in the summer really easy to do.
