At my school one Assistant Principal is an AKA, another AP is APHIA, and one 15 year teacher is an AKA. I think there may be a few more but I'm not to sure.

There are two Alpha Sigma Tau alums, one Alpha Kappa Alpha, and one Lambda Phi Epsilon (also a Carnegie Mellon alum!). And, of course, this Alpha Chi.

I'm the only one...although for awhile the other Executive Admin. was not only a Chi O, but from my chapter! She was a couple of years older, so we never knew each other at school though.

i don't work, but forgive me since i think this thread is kinda cool (once i learned about greek life through GC i suddenly started to notice people turning up greek all over the place on facebook)

- two guys in my major are brothers of Psi U (Psi U brothers are also heavily involved in our student government)
- my brother is a Phi Psi, as are several guys from HS (UMich)
- an RA in my building is an AKA
- a girl in my econ class is a Zeta Phi Beta
- two of my roommates in new orleans, one was a KD, the other alpha phi
- one of my best friend's brother is a delta chi (Arizona), as is one of my brother's good friends (UNLV)
- a friend from HS is also an alpha phi (U Washington)
- two of my ex's friends are tri-delts (Colgate)
- a friend who i've known my whole life is a DZ (Ohio Wesleyan)
- two other HS friends are DG (UChicago) and Phi Mu (Johns Hopkins)
- a girl from my study abroad program in HS is a DPhiE (Georgetown), another one is an SDT (as is another girl I've known since kindergarten) (both at Tulane), another is a tri-delt (Emory)
- a friend from HS is a Sigma Nu (Knox)
- two girls from my brother's year - one is a Theta Phi Alpha (Embry-Riddle), the other is a ZTA (GSCU)
- a girl from the year above me in HS is a Theta (Stanford), as is the daughter of a close family friend (Duke)

i'm sure there's more i don't know about, but greek chat certainly opened my eyes to all of this

There aren't any greeks in my department.

I work for a private university that doesn't recognize the greek system, and while I'm sure there are a few spread out in different departments on campus, greekdom seems to be frowned upon by the intellectuals here.

That's how it is at the college where I work, except the problem is that it's an evangelical institution that frowns on "secret societies." However, there are MANY AKAs in the faculty, staff and administration. I'm not aware of any other greeks - I just see AKAs everywhere. Seems kinda funny to me though...why hire Greeks but turn around and condemn them?
