I would rather live somewhere where I have the opportunity to purchase a gun. I just hope all the posters that said they don't want average citizens owning a gun never run for public office

I don't own a gun, but Mr. KimL owns 2, so I have had to learn how to use it. I must admit going to the shooting range was a rush, but I'm still not sure if I would actually use it, but who is to say depending on the situation I found myself in.

Yes. A .38 semi-automatic. I've owned it for over ten years. I bought it when I was around 21 years old for protection after an incident. I prefer to have one around because I live alone. I have used it several times at shooting ranges, but that's about it. I keep it locked away and out of reach of children (my nieces/nephews, godson, etc...)
