I can semi relate to your situation. When I first moved into my second floor apartment(of a three story building), I had a visit from my first floor neighbor who informed me that I was VERY LOUD and that she could hear me "stomping around" up there all the time. Okay, I had an 8:30-6:00 job, and I went to the gym right afterward, which was followed by my couch time, so my "stomping" hours were very limited. But I am nice and tell downstairs neighbor I will be quieter. Guess that wasn't good enough for her because she moved an apartment over and upstairs.
Fast forward to June when someone moves into the apartment above me and guess what? I can hear him "stomping" around all the time. What I came to realize is the tile in our apartments must be about an inch thick because they POUND when you walk on it. But the carpet is okay. LUCKILY, the bedrooms are carpeted, so it doesn't wake me up. But I can always tell when it is halftime in any game because I hear my wonderful neighbor POUND to the kitchen and back. But will I go up and yell--probaley not because I know I felt like shit when I got yelled at and I think some of it is part of being in an apartment.
Alpha Gam--ANYTHING that keeps you from sleeping and parking means all bets are off. I would keep on towing people and maybe see if you can complain to the management. But always remember this anytime you have an extra loud hookup session--you never know who can hear you!
