We've seen girls literally RUIN their rush with things they post on GC. Word gets out. If women here find out that someone is rushing at their alma mater (or current school), you better believe they will be using the "Find all posts by user" function.

Hey all! My niece will be going through recruitment in a few weeks, and I can't wait to see where she ends up! A number of her friends will be going through as well at various schools. I'll keep you posted on where everyone ends up!
Jill - thanks for keeping up with all of this - I love the stories, and this forum makes it so easy to track!

I enjoy doing the tally every year
NOTE: Results will be coming in soon. Since my mom and sister will be visiting (first time out West EVER) it might take me more time to update. But I WILL be checking on a regular basis and I WILL update.
Just hang in there, I will take care of you!

There is a Chi O legacy from my town going through recruitment at Auburn. Her mom said she will let me know the results.

I'll add a rec girl at Auburn. Since I'm good friends with her mother, I know I'll hear her outcome!

My little sis is rushing at Auburn. She moves into her dorm tomorrow. I think she's beginning to get major pre-rush anxiety.

Rush 2007
To all of you rushing this fall (2007)...best of luck to you. Whatever greek organization you choose (and remember, YOU are choosing just as much as they are), it will be the best place for you. Rush is the most stressful part of the whole thing. Once you find a sorority/fraternity that suits you, the rest is nothing but fun and friendship. I swear. I am almost jealous to read about all the people starting out now. Those days were some of the best of my life (but it was a long time ago for me).
Keep your smiles on. Ask questions to the members who are introducing you to their sorority sisters/fraternity brothers. Chances weigh heavily in your favor that you will land in the right place. If you don't find the right fraternity/sorority, then remember that a year on campus getting to know different members of different greek organizations is much more valuable than rush week. Don't lose faith. And if you decide not to pledge as a freshman, there are plenty of other organizations that are not Greek-related that you can join until you decide if going Greek is even for you.
Anyway, the main point of my post was to offer encouragement to those who are braving the course of recruitment week, wherever it is. I swear, the week will end, and you will probably end up really glad that you did it.
Good luck to all of you!

My best friends wonderful/beautiful/funny daughter at FSU. She's all set from recommendations to wardrobe, but her enthusiasm and open-minded attitude should be her greatest asset.
