OK i just heard about this "party line" mess back in the day on I Love the 80s and im like "what the hayle??? so its a chat room on the phone? that is soooo wack, running up the phone like that!"
(yeah, showing my age, but i can relate to some of the stuff here - like clean up saturdays... our house it was sunday tho. couldnt watch TV until homework was done... and we didnt even have no AC. we just sat in the window hopin for a breeze to come by
