MESSAGE FROM THE S.H. TO NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS, PERSONNEL ADVISORS, AND CHAPTER PRESIDENTS

Dear Sisters of Chi Omega,
We have been receiving phone calls and emails inquiring as to the status of the women of Sigma Lambda Chapter at Virginia Tech in light of the campus shooting yesterday morning. Let me assure you that Executive Headquarters staff was in contact with the chapter president early in the day, and the Governing Council received regular updates. All chapter members have been accounted for and are safe.
You may share this information with your chapters, boards, and teams. This is an opportune time to review Chi Omega's emergency procedure with your chapters. If you have questions, you should contact your regional director.
On behalf of Chi Omega Fraternity, the Governing Council expresses utmost sympathy to the victims of yesterday's tragedy at Virginia Tech. Our thoughts and prayers are with our Sisters and the entire university community.
