I've decided that I dont think I like Haley. So much so that I might be bold enough to throw her in the same pile as Sanjuya. She's not the strongest singer - this week sucked. All she has is her short-shorts like Sanjuya with his hair.

I agree, t*p. Didn't help matters that I just hate that song she sang.
I guess the short-shorts helped draw attention away from her false eyelashes and red red lipstick.

I've been waiting for Haley to go for weeks.
Watching Sanjaya is more painful each week, especially with the peach fuzz on his face. His vocals are horrid this week, too.
Blake impressed me this week.

Simon's comment about Haley had me cracking up!!! That is officially the coldest comment he has ever made!
And I just about threw up listening to Sanjaya. Why one earth did Simon say that "it wasn't that bad" ?!?

Usually, when Simon critics (on vocals NOT fashion), he is almost always right.

Granted, almost everyone was garbage last night, but I can't believe the judges thought Blake was the best...his vocal and performance were awful!
What was that dirty DeBarge look that Sanjaya was wearing?!?

I actually think Sanjaya sounded pretty darn good last night. He got the feeling of the song. He actually sounded better in the Spanish portion than the English portion, but overall, I think he was good (though I hated the facial hair!).
I thought Blake was boring.
I thought Chris was horrid - why do they think he is so good? The end of the song got better, but the first part was terrible!!!
Dialidaol.com has Jordin and LaKisha in the bottom 2 - it would be a real shame if one of them went before Sanjaya or Hailey (or Phil, or Blake, or Chris, or anyone but Melinda really!)

I thought Sunjaya was bad. Parts of the song were acceptable, but other parts were not good. And Simon didn't say he was good, he said, "that wasn't horrible."
I thought LaKisha picked a bad song because it didn't showcase her voice at all. Same with Melinda. But they weren't bad - that wouldn't be possible. They just weren't as exceptional as usual.
I thought Blake and Jordin did the best vocally and Chris was ok too. Haley was just, well, embarrassing. Phil and his big teeth need to go.
Predicted Bottom 2:
Haley
Phil
My bottom 2:
Haley
Sunjaya
And was it just me, or does J Lo "turn on the Latin" when she wants to? She seemed to speak with more of an accent than I remember her usually having. Granted, I'm not a fan of hers so I don't follow her much, but I don't remember her sounding that way before.

I agree. I don't understand why they constantly tongue-bathe both Blake and Chris Richardson. I think they're both awful. Then they criticize Phil Stacey but I think that he's actually pretty good!
I wanted someone to sing J.Lo's "Let's Get Loud". I think that would've been a fun, contemporary song.
About her accent, I'm not sure where it comes from either. I remember hearing one time that she doesn't even know how to speak Spanish - she's a native English speaker.

Keep in mind that she is from the Bronx, and they do have a certain accent. But also Mark Anthony has a definite accent, and when you spend alot of time with someone, sometimes you pick up their accent. It's happened to me when I've gone to NY for even just a week. My brother took my niece there to visit family and years later she still says some things like them.

I've never heard of that site before... do they have a pretty good accuracy in predicting the bottom 2?

I visited religiously last year the morning after each voting show and it was VERY accurate. This year they seem to be covering their asses and they say it's "too close to call" and have about 6 or 7 of them who could be in the bottom. Often the ones they had near the middle have been sent home this season.

That is so true. When I hang out with my friends from Minnesota, I start to talk like them a little, and I've never even been to MN!

Tell me about it.
I spent a few days with DolphinChicaDDD and her friend (another Jersey Girl) and by last night I was saying "coffee" and "sauce" different.
