Three-quarters of a bottle of vodka in about 15 minutes !?!? That's sad and scary, if true. I wish someone at the event had intervened to encourage or if necessary enforce a more responsible drinking pace. (Leaving aside for the moment the fact that the young man was not legally old enough to be drinking at all.)
