Some of you may be too young to remember them but the Scotsmen, the "Average White Band," were the @$@# back in the day. That's real soul music! They Hall & Oates and Teena Marie represent the essense of what this thread is all about.

Preach on, brutha! I was just rediscovering "One on One" by Hall & Oates the other day. They just don't make music like that these days.

I am on Imeem.com and her song "Do Me Good" was just added to my playlist. I will keep adding tracks as I like them and then purchase her CD sometime this year.
