Good guess, hanover -- Jean Vincenheller did have many Chi Omega relatives, but Miss Jobelle was the first to produce a legacy -- her sister, Cener Holcombe who was initiated April 18, 1896.

Actually, the answer is the White House! Isn't that cool?

Eleanor Roosevelt was on the selection committee, so most often, the presentation of the award was made in the East Room. One year, President Eisenhower presented the award.
