Thanks for the link. There were several more actors that I remembered and had no idea they had died. Even more tragic are the numer of afam men who died due to compications with AIDS.

I agree! I am totally baffled by the number of people that died from AIDS. I am wondering if it was because of risky behavior or because of receiving tainted blood. Sadly, I think it's because of the former....

Riskey behaviout includes sharing tainted needles. The stats in the Af Am community have been unable to clearly determine whether it is men having sex with men or dirty needles. This is because many Af Am homosexual men self-medicate with drugs.

In the last few years, the blood supply has been cleaned of tainted blood. So for awhile this was an issue, it is not anymore. Today they won't even take blood from someone who has Hepatitus or any other condition.
