no way! they do a great job of making him look more ethnic-y if that's the case. when his character was introduced with that weird synnthetic voice and the ridiculous height, the whole theater errupted in laughter. it was too much foolishness for one to absorb! if xerxes isn't gy, I'll eat my hat. he kept talking about wanting people "on their knees" lol, it was just such a running joke for the rest of the movie!
