There's nothing wrong with hoodies. Especially if you're from the north and freeze your ass off walking around campus.

We're not all made of money. Plus Barbour is crap for below freezing temperatures and snow.

This is our chapter in their jerseys. Everyone gets one from their big sister, it's the one thing we all own that's all the same. All the other chapters on our campus also have them and it's usually a big/lil thing for them too. Frankly, the other styles of "jerseys" that I've seen people with on some other campuses, I don't like, but I guess cos this style is what I'm used to. I'll try to find a picture of a FIJI in a hoodie for the OP as well.

Don't order them online! It's such a rip off. Everyone here goes to the local greek stores (or you could go to embroidery stores) and they order the hoodies (or whatever) and then they embroider the letters on in whatever color you want. It's about $20-25 depending on chapter size.

.......but a hoodie is adequate for below freezing temperatures?
I've worn heavy Barbour coats in extremely cold weather.......and they were just fine.

No, they're good for layering though. And I will admit to walking outside in just a hoodie, jeans and flip-flops. We're all a bit nutty up here. Of course, I'd never do that at the University of Vermont. There your legs go numb after 5 minutes of walking across campus.
In New England we're all in North Face, Columbia or LL Bean and everyone wears hoodies. It's the only way to survive.
