Posting a notice is not insurance against a private photo being shared anywhere on the internet. With digital camera's and personal web pages and blogs its just not feasble to think your image isn't anywhere on the www.
I know not everyone "gets" the internet which is why I asked did it matter to him that it was on GC? Would he have had the same reaction if you were forwarded a personal email that had some pictures of the event from someone & you recognized him in the background (meaning the photographer wasn't aiming at or looking at who was in the background)?
