Tiny,

I will keep my fingers crossed for you. You have the right attitude and hopefully will fidn your home. Did you already sign your bid card? What time can we all check back (and don't even think about torturing us till midnight tomorrow!)

We can find out from 10 till 4 tomorrow morning, I'll probably go in around 11 -I don't particularly want to stand in line forever

...who am I kidding, I'll probably be there at 10 haha, look for a post soon afterwards!

Good luck Tiny! Try to get some sleep tonight! When you go to the greek life office, can you get more than one bid or do they match you to one?

There's no bid matching, we can get bids from multiple places (anywhere that we went to pref parties)

Eek! I'm 7 hours ahead in time zones so I have to wait to hear what happened with your bids till 5! Good luck! It sounds like you had a lovely rush.

Unfortunately I didn't receive a bid from anyone, I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I'll keep my ears open for any COB events (although I doubt they will be having any in the spring) for the chapters I'm interested in, but I don't think I will be rushing again since I'm a sophomore.
I'm a little broken hearted but I'll be okay, I just wish...well I guess I just really felt at home with this girls and I wish they'd felt the same way, I really thought they did.

Aaand, I have to send out a congrats to PinkBabygirl and AXiD
Best of luck to you!

Aww...I'm sorry to hear it. Take a little time to recover...then dig into something else. College is so full of opportunities!

I'm so sorry dear. Take a day or 2 to hang out with your friends, maybe if you can, go visit your family. Go get some ice cream and watch a cheesy movie. That always helps when you're feeling down.

Awwww...at least you met some cool folks going through, I hope.

Plus, Pink said that AXiD was COBing--if you're still interested, COB is a great opportunity.

This campus had formal recruitment in the fall and this was a structured informal (they could get bids to multiple groups, no quota set) - some are CORing - I guess there is still space for some groups up to total.

And, it's it possible that there would be some additional bids given soon because some that were offered were declined in favor of different groups, right? I don't know your campus, but maybe someone who does could say.

Please remember, Tinydancer, that the groups can't take everyone they want a lot of times.
