I love the idea of a bake sale as well. I think between 5 girls - you could really crank out some cookies/brownies.

I know this might sound dumb...and the only reason I am suggesting it is because I am learning to crochet and knit...but *if* someone in your core group knew how to do either - they could do a one day lesson with the rest of you all....yarn is pretty cheap. Having the one day with each other will really make you closer...AND (the point is coming hehe) you could make stuff you could sell. You could make a few blankets with your school colors...or anything with your school colors on it and sell them at school...like a blanket that costs 5 dollars in yard to make, you can turn around and sell for 20 or 25 dollars. Of course this might not be an option if nobody knows how to crotchet or knit. And it does take some time - but you can whip one out on a Saturday while watching movies etc. If it is something that is possible, you can also make some things with your sororitys colors in them...once you have a pledge class. I am sure they will be stoked to be able to buy something with their colors on it.

If its warm where you live - have a car wash - 5 bucks a car. Print off signs and spread them all over campus.

Another crafty thing you can do for cash - but not spend a lot of cash - is to make your own candles. You could sell them on campus - they are *easy* to make!

Lol...can you tell I work for Home & Garden Television?

Ill stop now...ta ta!
