I just posted in the Delta Gamma forum and then saw this so I thought I'd post here also.
I am the Membership Adviser at Kent State and was very sad to hear of Alicia's passing. Though I had never met her, I saw the way the girls felt the night they found out and I knew that she was someone amazing.
Since then, another member of DG at Kent State has been affected by this disease. She was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last Wednesday. We are really hoping for the best and trying to support Kelly every step of the way.
Please keep Kelly, Alicia's family, and the Kent State DGs in your thoughts and prayers.
