On the other hand, I just read she will be charged with attempted murder.

That's not too funny.

Based on the facts as I understand them, and they are from the news, thus not too reliable from a legal standpoint, but I am not getting where they got the attempted murder charge from. Its a very high standard and from what I am hearing and reading, I don't know that what she did rose to that level. But, I'm sure the prosecutors have their reasons for charging her with that. We'll see what happens.

so she wears a diaper so she doesnt have to stop - but yet....what car drives 900 miles without a fill-up?

one of the late night talk show hosts pointed this out last night. I heard about it this morning, so I'm not sure which one it was.

Apparently astronauts wear some sort of adult diaper in space. How you can un-toilet train yourself is beyond me...it seems so ingrained.

I too want the car that goes 900 miles between gas stops.

What about a hybrid car? What's the max on a fill up?

On maybe the point of not stopping was not being recognized later? She was thinking she could pay at pump at stations next to highways and never be Id-ed maybe?

She's pretty clearly crazy, so I don't mean to assume there was anything rational about it.

I want to know what makes Oefelein such a prize to these women....Is he worth it?

I feel sorry for Nowak's husband and kids. Could you imagine the embarrassment?

Did not take that long for the Op-Ed cartoons to get a hold of this.
I do prefer their title to mine:

I would love to hear how Oefelein found out about this. Can you imagine waking up and seeing on CNN that some woman had gone crazy over you?

On another note, I feel for her estranged husband and kids - especially the teenaged son. I can't imagine the crap he will have to deal with over this.
