John,

If I had to guess, the current owner would be David N.R. Buck, whose father was Charles S. Buck (although he would sign his name Charles $. Buck), A77. I had the pleasure of meeting both of these gentlemen at the re-chartering banquet for the Alpha chapter in 1983.

If you have the "Boston Is Back" Cross & Crescent from Summer 1983, there is a picture of Charles in there.

Eric

You guess correctly, oh knowing one.

BTW, I purchased an old initiation certificate on EBAY for a guy from Alpha. VERY OLD. It belongs with Alpha Zeta archieves. Please send me your physical address and I'll get it to you.

Being truthful, I never knew the "FEZ" was green. Never read that anywhere!

Wouldnt it be a hoot if @ 400 Brothers had them on at a G A?

john, you always amaze me with some of your finds!

Eric, what did the $ sign mean? Did He have a bunch of $'s!

Fez

Didn't I read that Mason wrote instructions down for a purple fex with a

gold Lambda on the front of it? I could have sworn I read that someplace.

I was just talking to some of the guys at "the hut" (Frat house) about

how cool would it be if we have fezs or even better if we just got modern

rendition, a purple hat with just a gold lambda.

Regardless of what Mason wrote, I think that the one and so far only LXA fez to be found is of the green persuasion. I really need to make arrangements with Brother Buck to go down to San Diego and take some photos.

But more importantly, how do we make the Fez more diverse? What materials are out there to help chapters dealing with Fezes of different colors or materials.

What is your point? You mean a fez might be kept in the closet, or some of them might be different than others? What if there was a black fez?

I would treat it just like any other fez. A fez is a fez, that's how I see it.
